Motorcycle hits police car at 100 mph

A motorcyclist is in stable condition after he struck a state police car while going 100 mph on Interstate 84 last Thursday night. The incident unfolded about 10:40 p.m. when a trooper sitting on the median in East Fishkill, NY clocked two eastbound motorcycles doing about 100 mph. The motorcycles were going too fast for the trooper to stop them so he radioed ahead to another trooper who was sitting in the median. As the first motorcycle passed, the trooper pulled out after it, That's when the second motorcycle, struck the cruiser's right side while apparently trying to pass it. The motorcyclist then struck a guardrail and was thrown off his bike. Brewster firefighters rescued him from a steep ditch and he was taken to the Hospital. The first motorcyclist never stopped.
